Music Book Japan released a list of 4 artist that were outside their Top100 Ranking in 2015, those artists raised enough this year to power their Top100 in 2016. Those artists are Alexandros, Sakura Fujiwara, BABYMETAL and WANIMA.

In the 69th place of the ranking is BABYMETAL, a three people unit fusing Idol and Heavy Metal. They released the Single "KARATE" in February 2016 and released their Album "Metal Resistance" containing 12 songs including "No Rain, No Rainbow" and "THE ONE" in April. In addition, they they will support the Japanese Tour of Guns N' Roses for first time in 10 years in Japan. BABYMETAL played a big number of overseas performances and became hot topic.
